French Pole Valuter Gets Rs 2 Crore Job Offer From Porn Website After ‘Crotch’ Loss

Without even coming close to the podium, French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati has emerged as one of the most talked-about athletes at the Summer Olympics in Paris. On Sunday, August 3, Ammirati went viral for all the awkward reasons when he hit the pole with his crotch before falling to the ground. A very brief but quite unexpected glimpse didn’t evade the viewers’ eyes, as many took to social media and reacted to the incident.

Although the French pole vault athlete couldn’t qualify for the next round due to the blunder, he became an overnight sensation. Despite having missed out on Olympic glory, Ammirati didn’t return empty-hand, as the blunder landed him a pricey offer from an adult entertainment company.

According to TMZ Sports, the French athlete got a whopping $250,000 (over Rs 2 crore) offer from the popular adult content website CamSoda. Speaking about the same, company vice president Daryn Parker told TMZ, “If it was up to me, I’d award Anthony Ammirati for what everyone else saw—talent below the belt. As a lover of crotch-centric activities, I’d love to offer you up to $250,000 in exchange for a 60-minute webcam show in which you show off your goods, minus the crossbar, of course.”

Parker also went on to explain that the athlete doesn’t need to worry about his compression shorts not doing their job, as “he can let it all hang out as much as he wants.”

French Athlete On ‘Porn Job’ Offer

While Anthony Ammirati chose to remain silent on the unexpected job offer from an adult entertainment company, he did open up about his failure to qualify for the finals.

Speaking to the French Athletics Federation, Ammirati said, “I’m a bit gutted because I didn’t miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70 m. What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings. Just a technical session. I was 100 per cent physically fit, but I was missing a bit of pole vault.”
