A video of a group of men playing football in a unique way has gone viral on the internet. Harsh Goenka, Chairperson of the RPG Group, shared a video of three young men playing football on their terraces. Their demonstration of accuracy and skill is widely praised on the internet.

The video, which was posted on X (formerly Twitter), starts with a single player expertly dribbling a football on his terrace. As the audience is drawn in by his impressive footwork, the camera pans out to reveal something else. Subsequently, a powerful kick sends the ball flying across to an adjacent terrace, where another player is waiting. This second player catches the ball with remarkable control, allowing the game to continue without interruption.

Chairperson of the RPG Group, Goenka, captioned his post saying, “Wow! This is some skill…..” The video was shared on February 5 and so far, it has collected more than 66,000 views. The clip has around 1,000 likes and several comments as well.

Social media users are in awe of this remarkable pass-exchange between terraces. People have also expressed their admiration and disbelief at the game in the video. A user described it as “Samba on the terrace,” emphasising the dance-like and rhythmic movements that are reminiscent of Brazilian play.

“This is incredible,” said another, summarising the general sense of amazement that many people felt.

A user jokingly said, “Please find these players and include them in the Indian side.”

An account remarked, “Behad umda aur zabardast” while praising the skills of the men.

Several users also thanked the Chairperson of the RPG Group, Goenka, for sharing the video.

In March 2023, Indore hosted a unique football tournament. The ‘Goal In Saree’ tournament featured eight women’s teams from Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district. As the name implies, all of the participants wore sarees instead of sports jerseys during the matches.

The video of women in sarees playing football broke all stereotypes and went viral on social media. According to The New Indian Express, the saree-clad players ranged in age from 20 to 72 years. Their enthusiasm raised the bar for the game as well as the fervour throughout the stadium. As the saree-clad women kicked goals, the audience erupted in cheers.
