Man Complains About Tweets Disappearing From His Feed, Elon Musk Says 'Will Fix It'
It all started when Xan Barksdale, a basketball coach and former professional player, asked a question to Elon Musk on X.

Elon Musk is often seen interacting with users on his microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter). Recently, the SpaceX founder replied to a complaint from a user who was unhappy with one of the functions of the platform. This gesture by Elon Musk has garnered him a lot of attention on social media. It all started when Xan Barksdale, a basketball coach and former professional player, wrote on X and asked a question to Elon Musk. In the post, he revealed that he has been using the platform for years and has loved it, but there is one feature that he considers ‘Worst’.

In his post, Barksdale wrote, “Hey Elon Musk, I love Twitter, but the worst feature by far is that every time I open the app, I see a tweet that looks interesting, then the feed refreshes and I can’t ever find it again. I can’t be the only person this happens to, right!?” His post caught the attention of many, including Elon Musk himself. The tech billionaire acknowledged his query and confirmed that their company has been working to fix the issue. Elon Musk commented, “Yeah, we’re fixing this so you can scroll back to see interesting posts.”

Barksdale was delighted to get a response from the Tesla CEO and thanked him for making his day. After their interaction, the post went viral in no time. Many of them went to the comment section to express their views. One of the users commented, “It recently occurred to me that this is a feature, not a bug. Instagram does this also. If they didn’t like it, they’d fix it in a minute. Showing you something then taking it away creates a sense of FOMO, and immediately gets you digging into the app.” Another wrote, “Yep. Happens all the time…and then when it refreshes (as it does constantly) I see the same 2-3 tweets all day long.”

So far, the post has received 1.8 million views. Talking about Elon Musk and X, there has been a recent update on the platform, with their domain names officially changing from twitter.com to X.com.
