Dogs are man’s best friend. These canine companions and humans have shared a very unique bond for ages. It’s a bond filled with love and compassion. In most cases, dogs are even considered an integral part of the family. The internet is full of heartwarming videos showcasing the real connection between dogs and humans. One such adorable video is currently doing the rounds on social media where a man could be seen rescuing a dog who was stuck in a dark corner of a housing society. This heartwarming clip has restored the internet’s faith in humanity.
In the clip, an Instagram user named Shikhar Kundra claimed that he heard a dog crying in a corner when he left his home for a walk, but he couldn’t able to find him. After looking around, Shikhar found the dog stuck in a dark area under a staircase of his society.
“He was stuck there as the climbing height was more than his height. So I decided to help him out. But he was so tired he couldn’t even stand up on two legs so I could pull him up,” Shikhar said in the video, adding that at one moment he decided to give up, but his heart melted after looking at the helpless eyes of the stray dog.
“The only way left was to go inside and lift him up and that’s exactly what I did,” said Shikhar. He then went inside the dark corner and rescued the dog. “Uske baad kaafi khush lag raha tha (he seemed quite happy after that),” Sikhar added. He also fed eggs to his new furry friend.

Soon after the video was shared online it went viral and netizens couldn’t stop praising Shikhar for rescuing the helpless dog. “Thank you for doing this,” a user wrote. Another one commented, “Not all heroes wear capes.” A user commented, “You sir, are a man sent from heaven.” Another added, “Great work man!! Earth needs more humans like uhh.” One of them wrote, “You’re such a good man.”
The video has gathered 580,000 views since it was shared on Instagram and the numbers are gradually increasing.
