Telugu films are known for their bombastic scenes and over-the-top storylines. Some of the most successful Telugu films have elaborate action scenes that defy all logic and common sense but nonetheless provide much entertainment to viewers. Now one such entertaining but illogical scene from a Telugu film is raking in likes on X. The scene, taken from the 2019 film Sita, shows the protagonist and her love interest escaping the clutches of the villain by leaping through floors and getting into a car chase, even as they get shot multiple times. The scene features actors Kajal Aggarwal, Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Sonu Sood.

The special effects of the scene make it very comical even though it is supposed to be serious. Effects like slow motion and zoom-ins add to the theatrical element of the clip. Sita was made by the popular filmmaker Teja. A year after its release, Sita’s Hindi dubbed version was posted on YouTube by RKD studios. As of May 2024, it has 653 million views. On Tuesday, a film-centric X account shared this 28-second fight, escape and chase scene. Within a day it got over one million views. In the comments, many people commented on its pompous nature.
Commenting on it, an X user joked, “Bro died like 10 times.”

This is not the only “physics defying” film scene that has gone viral in recent years. In 2020, a scene from Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No 1 created a buzz by showing Varun Dhawan’s character jumping in front of a fast-approaching moving train and rescuing a child.
RIP भौतिक विज्ञान pic.twitter.com/asoQMPq4gf

In the scene, Varun Dhawan manages to run faster than the train and return to safety even though the train is just a few meters away. This film was a reboot of the 1995 film of the same name, which had Karisma Kapoor and Govinda in the lead. This remake was initially set for a theatrical release but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was released on Amazon Prime Video on December 25, 2020.
