However, the realization of the blunder struck Wadia and Preity Zinta moments after the hammer confirmed the purchase. Despite their attempts to rectify the error, Mallika Sagar pointed out the auction rule that once the hammer falls, the decision stands.

On a brighter note, Shashank brings a T20 record of 55 matches, boasting 724 runs with a striking strike rate of 135.83, coupled with 15 wickets.
