Rajat Dalal found himself in the eye of a controversy after a video of him knocking down a biker on a busy Faridabad road went viral on social media. Dalal was overspeeding at 140 km/hr and changing lanes on a busy road when he hit the biker. What’s more, he shrugged off the incident, saying, “Gir gaya, koi baat nahi. Roz ka yahi kaam hai ma’am [He fell down, no big deal. This is an everyday thing, ma’am].”
After watching the chilling video, many demanded his arrest for the “hit-and-run case” and termination of his driving licence. Faridabad police, too, took cognisance of the video and is investigating the matter.

The Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad said, “This video has come to the notice of the district administration and Faridabad police. Although no complaint has been made to the police in this matter. But the police administration has taken cognizance of this incident on its own and started action. The investigation is going on. Strict action will be taken against the culprit.”
Dalal, however, issued a clarification on the video, saying that it is an old one. “A video is going viral where people are showing a lot of anger and frustration. On my part, I would just like to say that I don’t have any data, nor do I have my Instagram account at the moment. I don’t even know where that video came from or how it went viral. The video that’s circulating now is old. I am done with all these controversies, fights, and abuses. I am moving forward in life and focusing on a positive path,” Rajat Dalal said in the video that he recorded inside his car.
But who is Rajat Dalal?
Rajat Dalal is a 28-year-old powerlifter from Haryana who has garnered significant recognition for his controversies. According to reports, he attended Tagore Academy Public School and graduated from Manav Rachna University in Faridabad. Dalal has a following of over half a million on Instagram where he posts impressive strength and training regimens that have inspired countless individuals.
Rajat Dalal Controversies
This isn’t the first time Rajat Dalal has found himself embroiled in controversy. In June of this year, he was arrested in Ahmedabad for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a teenager over a viral Instagram video. It all started when Dhyan Lodha, who filed the complaint, posted an Instagram video in which he referred to Dalal, saying, “Mighty Raju ruining my morning by showing his face every day in my gym.”
After the video went viral, Dalal allegedly contacted Lodha via Instagram, obtained his address, and picked him up from outside his home. Dalal then reportedly took Lodha to a cowshed, where he smeared cow dung on Lodha’s face. The ordeal escalated as Lodha was hit with sandals, forced to do sit-ups in a residential area, and made to clean a flat’s bathroom. In a shocking turn of events, Dalal even urinated on Lodha’s face to revive him after he fainted.
Lodha was subsequently admitted to the emergency ward of SMS Hospital in Chandkheda, where his statement was recorded. Dalal was charged under multiple sections of the IPC and was later released on bail.
In March 2024, the Haryana Police had to intervene in an escalating feud between fitness influencers Rajat Dalal and Rajveer Singh Shisodia. The conflict began when Dalal issued open threats against Shisodia in a video. The situation was initially heading towards a physical confrontation in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. However, the fight was called off, with Shisodia claiming that the Haryana Police had advised him against participating, citing strict directives. Shisodia further alleged that Dalal was colluding with the police, suggesting bias in how the situation was handled.
