In anticipation of the Ram Mandir inauguration, many artists have released new Ram bhajans or introduced new twists to old songs. Recently, an artist turned John Denver’s 1971 classic Take Me Home, Country Roads into a tribute to the newly opened Ram temple in Ayodhya. The video, titled “Take Me Home: Ayodhya Road," captures the scenes from Ayodhya and shows how the grand temple was built.
This video was uploaded to a YouTube handle on January 17. Commenting on it, a YouTube user wrote, “Fantastic… fantabulous…You deserve all the appreciation… Jai Shri Ram!"

In September, PM Modi appreciated Cassandra’s interest in Indian music on Mann Ki Baat. He played two songs sung by Cassandra on the radio show and said, “What a sweet voice. Through the emotions reflected in every word, we can feel her love for God. If I disclose that this melodious voice belongs to a daughter from Germany, perhaps you will be even more surprised! The name of this daughter is – Cassandra Mae Spittmann."

In a Mann Ki Baat episode, aired on 31st December, he encouraged people to share poems, songs, and bhajans for Lord Ram on social media, using the hashtag #ShriRamBhajan.
