There are all kinds of tips and tricks for singletons to consider while dating or to spice up their sex life. These easy dating ideas could easily boost your chances of getting a date with someone you fancy. However, what’s now going viral is this peculiar trick, made only for you, that will greatly enhance your appeal to the opposite sex and will keep them thinking about you.
But you might want to pay attention to this bizarre hack, as explained by this relationship expert, which claims to drastically increase your attractiveness to the opposite sex. According to Canadian therapist Kimberly Moffit, it is ‘one of the juiciest flirting hacks’ she has ever learned in her career. Supporting its effectiveness, even though she finds it ‘gross’. Its validity? It’s reinforced with science.
In a report by LadBible, Kimberly unfolded the ‘Cucumber Rule’ to her TikTok followers. She explained that this dating rule for men will easily ‘turn a woman’s head’, which strangely involves something that we normally use as an ingredient in a salad.
Of course, she is talking about cucumbers! But what about them, you might ask.
The Cucumber Rule is simple, she said. “All you have to do is make yourself smell as much as humanly possible like one.”
The relationship and fragrance expert explained, “Now you’re probably thinking, but Kimberly, why would I want to smell like a cucumber? This is why… A recent study showed that the fresh scent of cucumber increased arousal and blood flow to the clitoris by 13 per cent.”
Kimberly also had some advice to share with women about how fragrances can help up your flirting game, known as the ‘Donut Rule’. She claimed that by simply spritzing yourself with a scent that ‘smells like doughnuts’, you will have men falling at your feet. Kimberly backed up her perfume recommendation with a study conducted by the Smell and Taste Research Foundation.
Dr Alan Hirsch, who led the investigation into smell and sexual appetite in Chicago, US, found that a combination of doughnuts and liquorice increased blood flow to the penis by an average of 32 per cent. After Kimberly’s suggestions went viral, users filled the comment section with reactions.
One user said, “I’m going to find a cucumber scented cologne now.”
One staff worker who worked at a doughnut shop said, “I work at a donut shop… I’m never going to look at the male customers the same ever again.” Another humorously said, “Just stand in a donut shop all day, take in the scent.”
