But have you ever craved this Italian cuisine to the extent that you take a flight to Paris to grab one? Two savvy best friends from Liverpool flew to Pisa, Italy, for a pizza and got back in time for work the next day. British women named Morgan Bold and Jess Wooder are residents of London who reached Italy to eat pizza. They shopped, roamed around the city and ate pizza along with other Italian dishes. The duo claimed that the cost of their whole day trip and flight was less than travelling from Liverpool to London. The video of their trip is now going viral.
Morgan Bold spotted cheap flights and along with her friend she decided to try an ‘extreme day trip’. The duo used only a single day of annual leave. In the video, Morgan Bold and Jess Wooder were seen boarding the airport and roaming on the streets of Pisa, Italy. They shared the visuals of Mona Lisa t-shirts and their trip to temples where they lighted the candles. The duo ate pizza and had a few refreshment drinks. As per the media reports, Morgan said that she did all this for just £170 i.e. Rs 17,730. Her travel expenses by flight were £28.50 i.e. Rs 2800. On airport parking and food expenses, the cost was estimated to be £41 i.e. around Rs 4000. She says that the train fare in London would have been as expensive as the flight to Italy. The food and drinks would have been much more expensive. The duo ate pizza there while looking at the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
It is not the first time that a British resident flew to Italy for a pizza. Last year, a man named Callum Ryan reportedly posted a video on TikTok where he claimed that it was cheaper for him to fly to Italy to buy a pizza than get one from Domino’s.
