An old video from Russia has gone viral, showing a large bear enjoying a bike ride with its trainer on the streets.

Social media has become a hub for viral videos featuring adorable and talented animals. While we usually see pet dogs, cats, horses, cows and even birds taking center stage, now a wild animal has caught the internet’s attention for its goofy antics. An old video from the streets of Russia has resurfaced on the internet, showing a 25-pound bear named Tim riding with his trainer on a bike. Shared on the X handle of Nature Is Amazing, the video shows Tim enjoying the journey while remaining seated on the sidecar of the motorcycle, leaving bystanders amused.

As the video plays, one can spot Tim on the sidecar with his trainer from the Area 29 circus and another biker from the Polar Wolves Club. According to a Daily Mail report, the clip was captured on the streets of Syktyvkar, Russia. “A bear riding in a motorcycle sidecar waving to people. Just a normal day in Russia,” the video’s caption read.

The video was originally recorded in 2017 when Nicholas Pasynkov, a local, spotted Tim and his companions on the ride. Tim is a trained bear who performs in a travelling circus run by the Polar Wolves bike club.

Quite a few years old, the video has once again managed to grab everyone’s attention on social media, raking in a lot of reactions. A user wrote, “Makes sense, the bear ate his meal and needed to get out for some fresh air,” while another commented, “A shoutout to the motorcycle for carrying all of them.” “Uber drivers in Russia are way more awesome than anywhere else,” a user jokingly wrote.

A user while praising the bear’s treatment wrote, “Honestly Russia is growing on me. This is not animal abuse. This is treating a bear as a pet and a friend. The little treat given was icing on the cake.” The video has already gained over 13 million views, along with more than 1,00,000 likes and several comments.

A section of users also shared a few more adorable clips of the wild animal and its antics.

These clips come against the backdrop of Russia, known for having the most bears in the world. Being native to the country, the animals are also an important cultural symbol and have been associated with Russia for centuries.
