Wildlife is full of incredible and unpredictable reptiles, and among them, snakes have always been terrifying creatures that can give chills even to the bravest of hearts. However, the internet is filled with ample snake videos showing individuals performing dangerous stunts with them. These videos often go viral on the internet, sending shockwaves across the internet. Adding to the list of such unsettling videos, a video is doing the rounds on the internet, captivating the attention of thousands worldwide.
Without a doubt, many of us would immediately run for our lives or freeze on the spot if we came across a King Cobra. But in the clip, the individual can be seen confronting the reptile bare-handed. A monstrous king cobra is nearly double the size of the man himself. Yes, you read that right. In a world where king cobras are unequivocally one of the most arduous reptiles on the planet, known for their venomous bite and intimidating image, a man is holding the cobra over his head in the air without any safety equipment.

The post was shared on Instagram by the user Akash Jadhav. Needless to say, the footage has gained widespread attention, amassing more than 29,000 likes, and the numbers are still increasing. Social media users have been quick to chime into the comment section with a spectrum of responses to this audacious feat. While some praised the man’s bravery in the unconventional spectacle, others couldn’t suppress their nervousness after seeing the video. “This is scary,” expressed a user.
An Instagram user expressed, “It is very risky… Salute Bro, you’re daring and full of confidence. Awesome video.”
Highlighting the potential hazards involved in such behaviour, another exclaimed, “OMG, this is so so dangerous.”
An individual voiced concern for the man’s safety and the unpredictable nature of the venomous reptile and advised, “Don’t do it again.”
Similarly, in November 2023, another video that showed a man casually holding a massive king cobra over his head went viral. The video was posted online by Instagram user Sahabat Alam, and so far, it has over 46,000 likes. According to his Instagram bio, Sahabat Alam volunteers with an Indonesian non-profit, PMI Bandung Barat, and has over 74,000 followers on Instagram. He often posts snake and reptile-related content on the micro-blogging site leaving users stunned.
