Watch: Lepard Runs For Life After Getting Chased By Three Dogs In Nainital

In a stunning display of bravery, three vigilant pet dogs were captured on CCTV driving away a leopard approaching a residence in Nainital, Uttarakhand. The remarkable footage left residents in awe, highlighting the extraordinary courage of their loyal canine protectors. The video of the incident was shared on X on July 31.

The video starts with one of the dogs seen relaxing next to the house’s gate. It appears like the dog is startled when it suddenly spots the leopard. The dog then makes an l attempt to attack the leopard. Within seconds, the leopard can be seen lunging forward to take the dog by surprise.

The big cat is forced to flee after two more dogs join the first and fiercely confront it. But the leopard makes a comeback, and this time, it dashes out of the gate after losing. In the middle of all the mayhem, a resident can be seen coming out of the house to see if the leopard has left.

“The king of the jungle ran away to save his life from the dogs. Look..” read the tweet.

Within a few hours of being shared, the video has collected over 1,000 views.

A similar incident occurred in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, in June, this year when a leopard sneaked in front of a house in the Rahuri taluka area before being scared away by a dog.

News agency ANI shared the CCTV footage of this incident, which went viral at the time.

In another incident, a leopard was captured on camera attacking a pet dog in Ramnagar, Karnataka, in January of this year. A CCTV camera put in the area recorded the entire episode. However, the dog responded and defended itself in response to the attack, forcing the leopard to flee.
