New temples and celebrations are being held across the globe to commemorate the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya.

New temples housing revered Hindu god Lord Ram Lalla are being inaugurated across the world. New temples dedicated to Ram Lalla are being inaugurated along with the newly built Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya.

The Indian diaspora across the globe are preparing for extravagant celebrations and displaying their enthusiasm and reverence ahead of the event scheduled for Monday.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony seems to have transcended national boundaries and is evolving into a worldwide celebration which has struck a chord even with natives of different nations.

Mexico

Mexico, the North American nation, got its first Lord Ram Temple in the city of Queretaro on Sunday. “First Lord Ram temple in Mexico! On the eve of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at Ayodhya, the city of Queretaro in Mexico gets the first Lord Ram temple. Queretaro also hosts the first Lord Hanuman temple in Mexico," the Indian Embassy in Mexico said in a post announcing the inauguration of the temple. It further added that people of the Indian diaspora in Mexico were present during the inauguration ceremony.

New Zealand

At New Zealand’s Eden Park, devotees thronged the Ram Mandir in New Zealand’s Auckland to observe the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. “Shri Ram Mandir Parivaar is joining the historic Ayodhya program in Eden Park on 21 January to celebrate the opening of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Ayodhya. Inviting all devotees to join this event," the temple committee said in a Facebook post.

Mauritius

The Indian diaspora in Mauritius has united in celebration of Ram’s homecoming and lit diyas in all temples. Ramayan Path recitals were also held and an event where diyas will be lit in all temples have also been planned. The Mauritian government announced a two-hour special break for Hindu public officers on January 22.
