The CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre clash is going to be a major highlight of the WWE Bash in Berlin. Both superstars will face off in a Strap Match, with Punk seeking revenge having conceded a defeat at SummerSlam.
Ahead of the big event, the duo appeared on an episode of Monday Night Raw where they addressed their storied rivalry. McIntyre came in first and went on to hurl insults at his opponent.
At that moment, Punk started an Instagram live where he was captured hiding under the ring. Suddenly, the Best in the World’s music hit and the former AEW star came out with a belt in his hand.
Drew McIntyre went outside and a fight broke out at the ringside. The Scotting Warrior started on a promising note, but CM Punk quickly bounced back. He started to beat his opponent with the belt. The situation turned so intense that a few security personnel came forward to separate both men.

Drew McIntyre took it as an opportunity to back off. He jumped over the barricade and disappeared. CM Punk seemed to be in no mood to give up.
Recently, Punk was asked to say something positive about Drew McIntyre while speaking on the ‘The Masked Man Show’ at Fanatics Fest. Punk, known for his witty responses, sarcastically called McIntyre “the fourth-best wrestler to ever wear a kilt.”
The rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre has been one of the most engaging WWE stories in recent times. They have faced off against each other on several occasions. The matter is expected to be settled at Bash in Berlin. The impending strap match, however, might not be the last fight between the two. As per media reports, they will feature in a Hell in a Cell match at the Bad Blood PLE in October.
Both CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have previously competed in Strap Matches. In 2009, Punk got the better of Umaga in a Samoan Strap Match at Extreme Rules before beating MJF in a Dog Collar clash at the 2022 AEW Revolution. Meanwhile, McIntyre took on Karrion Kross at the 2022 Extreme Rules and lost the Strap Match.
