The Indian Railways today is staring at some uncertain times ahead. What about more than 20 million passengers that depend on it every day? CNN-IBN finds out if they have been forgotten somewhere between politics and commerce?

"We need more platforms with more trains as there are more passengers and less train," a rail user said.

In modern stations hygiene takes a beating and safety on platforms is far from being sufficient. Even inside the trains safety is crucial concern for the passengers.

Amenities and annoying delays in running of trains are the issues which have remained a concern for train commuters for decades.

From Nitish Kumar to Ram Vialsh Paswan to Lalu Prasad Yadav, this has not lessened the ordeal of train travellers in Bihar.
