Glenn Maxwell was happy to finally make the recent visit to Adelaide a positive one with a fine century.

Flamboyant Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell opened up on his hospitalisation after a late-night pub incident. Maxwell was rushed to hospital after he passed out during a night out in Adelaide. It was reported that Maxwell got involved in a late-night drinking session which led to further consequences.

Meanwhile. the flamboyant all-rounder smashed a brilliant century against West Indies to help Australia take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

The Aussie star scored his fastest T20I century in home conditions as reached the mark in 50 balls.

“I think probably it affected my family a little bit more than it affected me,” Maxwell said after the match.

“I knew I had that week off. And obviously that incident was less than ideal, and the timing. But I had that week off, I knew I had that week off away from the game,” Maxwell further added.

Meanwhile, the Aussie star was happy to finally make the recent visit to Adelaide a positive one with a fine century.

“I got my parents here as well. So, had a few cursed Adelaide trips, with them coming over a couple of times. So I got injured. I think I broke my leg the last time they tried to come over to Adelaide. So, it’s nice to make this a positive one,” Maxwell told the broadcaster at the innings break.

Maxwell equalled India skipper Rohit Sharma’s record for most hundreds in men’s T20Is when he scored an unbeaten 55-ball 120 in the second T20I against the West Indies on Sunday.

He slammed a 50-ball century to propel Australia to a mammoth 241/4 against the West Indies who fought back but lost the match by 34 runs.

The 35-year-old pointed out that there are not many games left for Australia to get prepared for the T20 World Cup but said

“We know we have got four international games until the (T20) World Cup and how it comes around pretty quick. And I just try to make sure I’m in as good a space that I can be for that tournament,” the all-rounder concluded.
