'Attempt to Tarnish my Wife's Image': Ravindra Jadeja Denies Allegations Made by his Father

All-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja took to X where he denied the allegations laid on him by his father, Anirudhsinh Jadeja who had given an interview recently.

Jadeja took to X where he firmly denied the allegations by his father. He captioned his post, “Let’s ignore what’s said in scripted interviews.”

His post said, “All the things said in the nonsense interview are meaningless and untrue. It is a one-sided story and I completely deny the allegations. The attempts made to tarnish the image of my wife are truly reprehensible and unbecoming. I, too, have a lot to say but won’t do it publicly.”

Jadeja’s father had spoken with the Gujarati daily Divya Bhaskar, where he alleged that his son does not call him. Anirudhsinh Jadeja revealed, “I don’t call Ravindra, and I don’t need him. He is not my father; I am his father. He is the one who is supposed to call me. All of this makes me cry.”

The senior Jadeja also revealed that he currently lives alone in Jamnagar

He lives alone in a 2 BHK flat in Jamnagar away from his son. “I live alone in a 2BHK flat. I have a house-help who cooks for me. I am living my life on my own terms. Even in my 2BHK flat, there is still a separate room for Ravindra,” added Anirudhsinh Jadeja.

The father also revealed how the problems began. Anirudhsinh said, “Right after their marriage, there was a dispute regarding the ownership of Ravindra’s restaurant. She (Rivaba) told him to transfer the ownership of the restaurant to her name. They even had a major fight because of that. His sister thought that he would manage things from now on, and agreed to sign.”

The familial issue arose during a stage when Jadeja had missed out on the second Test against England at Visakhapatnam due to a hamstring issue.

The Indian team will be eager to get Jadeja back in the 11 as the hosts will be eager to get a lead in the Test series and keep their undefeated streak for the home Test series alive.

The all-rounder is currently rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru under the supervision of BCCI’s medical team.

India will be taking on England once again with the third Test taking place at Rajkot. India has been dented by the loss of Virat Kohli who missed out on the first two Tests and the squad for the remaining three Tests is yet to be announced.
