The T20 World Cup is done, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to rest for India, as a new-look Indian cricket team has set off to Zimbabwe to take on the hosts in a 5-match T20I series.
The likes of Abhishek Sharma, Dhruv Jurel, all-rounder Nitish Reddy, Riyan Parag, and Tushar Deshpande have received maiden T20I call-ups while left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has returned after five years.
Senior players competing in the ongoing T20 World Cup in the Americas, including captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested after the World Cup triumph, ahead of a seemingly long and gruelling season again.
In a recent Instagram post, the Indian team was seen in transit to Zimbabwe.

The first T20I shall take place on July 6, with the final T20I scheduled to take place on July 14.
