'Special Feeling to Share the Dressing Room With You': CSK's Mustafizur Rahman Thanks MS Dhoni Following His Exit From IPL 2024
Mustafizur Rahman's departure will be a big loss for CSK as he is currently the side's leading wicket-taker in the squad for IPL 2024.

The defending champions of the Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings are set to be without the services of their star pacer from Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman for the remainder of the 2024 season as he is set to undertake national duties and prepare himself for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. However, before his departure, he put up a heartfelt post where he thanked the legendary MS Dhoni.

Mustafizur has been a crucial element in CSK’s season this year. Having played a total of nine games, he has picked up a total of 14 wickets at an average of 22.71 and an economy of 9.26 runs per over.

It will surely be a big loss for the franchise as they already have some injury concerns with the likes of Deepak Chahar having been forced off the field during the side’s previous game against Punjab Kings which resulted in a loss for the five-time champions.

The Chennai Super Kings have had a decent tournament so far with Ruturaj Gaikwad being handed the reins to lead the champion side and transitioning from the leadership of the legendary MS Dhoni.

In the 2024 season, the side has won and lost five games each in the 10 they have played so far. While they have been decent at home, the side has struggled in putting up performances in the away games where they have only won one in the four games played on the road.
