The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the result of the Class 8th exam 2024. Students who were eagerly waiting for their marksheets can navigate to the official websites dedicated to Jharkhand Academic Council at jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com and download their results. The JAC Class 8 exam was conducted from March 16 this year.

Out of these, a commendable 5,28,96This year, as many as 5,61,774 Class 8 students participated in the exam. 2 students successfully qualified for the exam. The board recorded the overall pass percentage as 94.16 per cent.

In addition to the overall pass percentage, the Jharkhand Board Class 8 Result 2024 also includes statistics for specific categories:

Marginal Category: A total of 32,471 students, which accounts for 5.78 per cent of the examinees, were placed in the marginal category. These students are expected to get additional instructions/opportunities from the JAC to improve their scores.

Incomplete Results: The results are currently incomplete for around 341 students. The council is expected to declare the next steps for these students shortly.

Step 4: Hit submit, and your JAC Class 8 marksheet will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Save a copy of the result and take a printout for future use.

Jharkhand Board Class 8 Result 2024: Grading system

The Jharkhand Board Class 8th results follow a five-point grading system, with each grade having a corresponding range of marks. Students who score 80 per cent or above receive a grade of A+, while those who score between 60 and 80 per cent receive an A grade. Similarly, grade B is awarded to those who achieve 45 to 60 per cent, and grade C is awarded to those who score 33 to 45 per cent. To pass the exam, every candidate must obtain a grade of at least C.
