The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test or TS TET 2024 online application process has commenced today, March 27 at the official website, tstet.cgg.gov.in. The last date to apply is April 10. The exam fee is Rs 400.

Candidates who have cleared graduation can apply for the exam. The TS TET paper 1 and 2 examinations will be conducted on May 20 to June 3 in the online mode. The hall tickets can be downloaded from May 15 onwards. Earlier, the validity of the TS TET certification was seven years, but now it has been changed to a lifetime.

TS TET 2024: How to Apply?

Step 1- Visit the official website of TS TET, tstet.cgg.gov.in

Step 2- On the homepage page, click on the TS TET 2024 registration link

Step 3- Enter the required credentials to log in

Step 4- Fill in the form with the required information

Step 5- Pay the online application fees.

Step 6 – Submit the form

Step 7 – Save and download the acknowledgment form for further records

This time, the TS TET is going to be conducted before the DSC exam. With this decision by the government, around 3 lakh candidates are expected to get the opportunity to write DSC. Almost 4 lakh people have already cleared TET. Such candidates are also expected to appear in the DSC exam. Both DED and BED candidates can apply for paper-1 while only BED candidates can apply for paper-2. Furthermore, those who wish to get promoted from SGT to School Assistant and from School Assistant to HM must qualify for TET.

Candidates from the general category must receive 60 per cent or more to pass the TS TET while SC, ST, or differently abled category candidates must score at least 40 per and those from the OBC category must receive at least 50 per cent.

The TS TET 2023 results were announced on September 27. Paper 1 and paper 2 received as many as 2,69,557 and 2,08,498 applications, respectively. Hyderabad had the highest number of test centres, at 92, while Mulugu district has the fewest, with only 8 exam centres.
