Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has begun the registration process for the UPPSC PCS Exam 2024 on January 1, 2024. Candidates who are interested in applying for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination, 2024, can register through the official website of UPPSC at uppsc.up.nic.in.
The deadline for submitting the online application is February 2, 2024, and candidates can make modifications to their application forms until February 9, 2024. Currently, there are approximately 220 vacancies for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2024, subject to circumstances and requirements.
The selection of the candidate will be determined by their performance in the preliminary examination, followed by the main examination (written), and an interview round.
UPPSC PCS 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognised University by the last date for the receipt of applications. Additionally, applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of July 1, 2024. For Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years, meaning they should not have been born before July 2, 1969.

Step 1: Open the official website: uppsc.up.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2024 application link on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill in all the required details like selecting a post, uploading documents, etc on the application process.
Step 4: Once done, pay the fees and submit.
Step 5: Download the form and keep a printout for future use.
UPPSC PCS 2024: Application Fee
Eligible candidates can pay the fee till January 29, 2024. The online application fee structure is Rs 125 for Unreserved, OBC, EWS categories, Rs 65 for SC, ST, ESM, and a reduced fee of Rs 25 for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). It is important to note that candidates must complete the payment process within the stipulated deadline during the ‘ONLINE APPLICATION’ process. Subsequently, candidates are advised to generate a printout of the transaction for their records and safekeeping.
If the details provided by the candidate in the application are found to be untrue, strict actions will be taken including debarring the candidate from all the selections/examinations conducted by the commission, it said. Furthermore, appropriate legal action under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) will be initiated against the candidate.
