Munich: Pep Guardiola will see a familiar team in one of his first games in charge of Bayern Munich when his new club faces his former side Barcelona in a friendly on July 24.
Bayern signed Guardiola to a three-year contract that starts in July. Guardiola led Barcelona to 14 titles over four seasons before stepping down and taking a year off.
The German club said on Wednesday the match was finalised in talks between Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Barcelona president Sandro Rosell on the fringes of the meeting of the European Club Association in Doha, Qatar.
Bayern said the match was a present for club president Uli Hoeness' 60th birthday and that the entire income will go to the charities he supports.
