Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo's camp are furious with the lack of support from Real Madrid fans for their friend this season. Saturday's jeers infuriated Ronaldo's closest pals, already upset with how he was treated during the El Clasico defeat to Barcelona before Christmas.
Sources close to the player told AS: "The guy has feelings and was hurt that day (the El Clasico) when he left the stadium. He could not understand that the Bernabeu were abusing him for missing a pass or criticising him against Barca saying that he always fails when playing them.
"Was it not his goal that gave Real Madrid the Copa in Valencia? Who scored at the Nou Camp in the Super Cup and immediately hit the crossbar of Victor Valdes? "
His friends tell the former Manchester United star that at Old Trafford they still chant his name every weekend and it is always flattering, while in La Castellana this has not happened once.
