Macclesfield, England: Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez must carry out 250 hours of community service after admitting to driving with his license suspended and without insurance.

The Argentina international was also handed a fresh six-month driving ban and fined 1,000 pounds ($1,500) after pleading guilty to the offenses in court near Manchester on Thursday.

The maximum penalty for driving while disqualified is six months in prison. Tevez was banned from driving for six months on January 16 after failing to respond to letters by police about speeding. However, he was stopped by police while driving a sports car on a road near his home on March 7, following an anonymous tip-off.
