We are two months into the season and some players have already proved their worth to their club, following some impressive displays. From Robin van Persie to Eden Hazard, from Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Jordi Alba, we look at those who have proved to be most valuable for the money spent on them.

Robin van Persie (Arsenal to Manchester United: Depending on who you speak to, some will argue that 24 million pounds is a big price to pay for a 29-year-old with a year left on his contract, but then others, will note that Manchester United have landed the most in-form striker in the Premier League. Sir Alex Ferguson doesn't normally get it wrong in the transfer market and seven goals has already seen RVP's name being sung at the Theatre of Dreams.

Eden Hazard (Lille to Chelsea): So much was written and expected of the little Belgian that the pressure was immediately on him as soon as he arrived at Stamford Bridge. Belgian attacking midfielder, Hazard, made the gigantic leap from Lille to Chelsea. And this young lad is off to a blistering start this season with number of fine assists and two goals. At only 21, his best years are yet to come and will surely help Blues to fight for title this season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (AC Milan to PSG): Wherever he goes, goals will follow him. Zlatan was on the move once again. After tasting success at AC Milan, he made up his mind and joined PSG this summer. And as thought of, he was an instant hit. This is his seventh club in thirteen-year career. The 30-year-old flamboyant striker has already netted nine goals in seven matches for the French giants.

Santi Cazorla (Malaga to Arsenal): There are conflicting reports as to how much Arsenal spent on the Spanish international but any deal is worth it. He is by far Arsenal player of the season so far, and a perfect replacement for Cesc Fabregas. The former Malaga man was one of the standout players in Europe last term and has taken EPL by storm this season. He has already scored a couple of times and has also set up his team through number of times so far.

Jordi Alba (Valencia to Barcelona): Barcelona had long searched for a talented left back to pair with Dani Alves on the right...and finally they found their man in Alba. Bursting onto the scene with Valencia over the last few seasons, he has been outstanding so far for Spanish giants. A fast and skilful player who uses his speed and ability to press forward down the left flank, Alba’s versatility also means that he can be used all over the pitch.

Thiago Silva (AC Milan to PSG): Many consider Silva to be the world's top defender at the moment and he certainly proved it over the last few seasons with Milan. He has impressed in French league with number of fine displays at the back though he is missing support from the other defenders.

Nuri Sahin (Real Madrid to Liverpool): Brendan Rodgers relationship with Jose Mourinho may well have paved the way for this impressive loan capture. The Turkish international has a point to prove, having not been given the chance to shine at the Bernabeu and Liverpool could well do with extra creativity in their midfield. Liverpool may well look to make the temporary move a permanent one as the young midfielder has shown some mature displays for Pool.
