Closing All Tabs on Chrome or Firefox
Open Chrome or Firefox in tab view. To do this, launch Chrome or Firefox, then tap the tab icon. It's the numbered box in the upper right corner of the browser window if you're using an Android and in the bottom row if you're using an iPhone. This works whether you have an Android or an iPhone with either Chrome or Firefox.
Tap ⋮ (Android) or Edit (iPhone). You'll see this three-dot menu icon to the right of the tab icon or the Edit button in the bottom left corner of your screen.
Tap Close all tabs. You may be prompted to confirm your action before continuing. If you don't see this option, you may not have the latest update for Chrome or Firefox or you didn't tap the tab icon to navigate to your open tabs.
Closing All Tabs on Safari
Open the tab view in Safari. To do this, open Safari, then tap the tab view icon at the bottom of your screen (it looks like two overlapping squares). Safari will only work on iPhones, not Androids.
Tap and hold Done. You'll see this in the bottom right corner of your screen. A menu will slide up from the bottom and you can release Done.
Tap Close X Tabs. The X will change to show how many tabs you're closing, like 5 or 205.
