How to Craft Polished Deepslate in Minecraft: Recipes & Tips

Obtaining Polished Deepslate

Polished Deepslate is naturally generated in Ancient Cities. If you can find an Ancient City, you can gather Polished Deepslate with a pickaxe. If you use any other tool, the Polished Deepslate will drop nothing.

You can craft Polished Deepslate with four Cobbled Deepslate. Place 1 Cobbled Deepslate in the lower-left corner of a 3x3 crafting grid, then place 1 additional Cobbled Deepslate directly above, diagonal, and to the right of the initial Cobbled Deepslate. You will get 4 Polished Deepslate when crafting it.

You can use the stonecutter to turn Cobbled Deepslate into Polished Deepslate. Every 1 Cobbled Deepslate you put into the Stonecutter will be crafted into 1 Polished Deepslate.

Polished Deepslate Recipes

Deepslate Bricks. With 4 Polished Deepslate you can craft 4 Deepslate Bricks at the crafting table. Place 1 Polished Deepslate in the lower-left corner of a 3x3 crafting grid, then place 1 additional Polished Deepslate directly above, diagonal, and to the right of the initial Polished Deepslate. You can also craft 1 Deepslate Bricks block with 1 Polished Deepslate at the stonecutter.

Polished Deepslate Slab. With 3 Polished Deepslate you can craft 6 Polished Deepslate Slabs. Fill the bottom row of a 3x3 crafting grid with Polished Deepslate to craft Polished Deepslate Slabs. You can also craft 2 Polished Deepslate Slabs by putting 1 Polished Deepslate in the stonecutter.

Polished Deepslate Stairs. With 6 Polished Deepslate you can craft 4 Polished Deepslate Stairs. Fill all squares of a 3x3 crafting grid with Polished Deepslate except the top-right corner and the square immediately to the left and immediately below that square. You can also craft 1 Polished Deepslate Stairs with 1 Polished Deepslate at the stonecutter. This is more efficient, as you can get 6 Polished Deepslate Stairs with 6 Polished Deepslate instead of just 4 stairs.

Polished Deepslate Wall. With 6 Polished Deepslate you can craft 6 Polished Deepslate Walls. Fill the bottom 2 rows of a 3x3 crafting grid with Polished Deepslate. You can also use 1 Polished Deepslate to craft 1 Polished Deepslate Wall at the stonecutter.
