HYDERABAD: The state government will issue a notification for recruitment of 1,172 village revenue officers and 6,063 village revenue assistants posts on November 26. Addressing a press conference on Monday, revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy said this is the biggest recruitment process taking place after nearly 24 years. Giving details of the recruitment process, the minister said the last date for receipt of filledin applications is December 17. Scrutiny of received applications will be completed by December 26 and names of shortlisted candidate will be ready by January 2, 2012.
The call letters to eligible candidates will be sent on January 8, 2012 and interviews will be from January 18 to 28 with the final results announced on January 30. The candidates selection will be on 1:3 ratio. For VROs, the interview will be conducted by the district selection committee headed by district collector, joint collector and chief executive officer of zilla parishad, while for VRAs, the interviews will be conducted by district revenue divisional officers, MPDOs and tahasildars.For VROs, the educational qualification is intermediate and for VRAs it is SSC pass, Raghuveera Reddy said. The government is taking all steps to conduct the recruitment in a foolproof manner and appealed to the candidates and parents not to fall prey to persons who promise jobs, the minister said.
