BANGALORE: In separate incidents, three persons committed suicide in the city. Upset over being adviced by parents, Babu, 19, a native of Chitradurga, committed suicide by hanging at a shed near his house. The incident was reported in Mallathalli in Jnanabharathi police station limits on Tuesday.The police said that Babu, an employee at a mobile accessories shop, had applied for PU supplementary exams.As he went home late on Monday night, his parents reportedly told him to come home early and prepare for exams.Upset over this, when his parents were not at home on Tuesday, he ended his life by hanging himself in a shed near the house.In another incident at Uttarahalli main road in Kengeri police station limits, a youth who was depressed over his grand mother’s ill health ended his life.The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar, 20, a native of Neelakantanahalli in Channapatana.He stayed wih his grandmothe and was working at the turf club. The police said that Ravi’s parents had passed away when he was an infant and his grandmother had taken care of him since then.Three days ago, his grandmother was hospitalised. Ravi, who was upset over her health condition, committed suicide at home. The incident came to light on Tuesday. In yet another case reported in Goutamapura in Ulsoor police station limits, Sonia, 23, hanged herself at her residence and ended her life, the police said. It is suspected that she might have ended her life due to health problems.
