MYSORE: Mysore Kennel Club, Bangalore, is organising the 94th and 95th All India Championship Dog Show on Dasara Exhibition Ground on August 28, a firstof- its-kind for Mysore.In this connection, a local show committee headed by B P Manjunath has been formed to raise funds, organise and conduct the shows and work for its success, said Mysore Kennel Club secretary D T Jayaramaiah.In a press conference on Wednesday, he said that it was decided to dedicate this show to Jayachamaraja Wadiyar.Dog Show Committee chairman BP Manjunath said on then occasion that more than 40 species of dogs, between the age group of 8 and 16, registered at Kennel Club of India, are participating in the show.Committee chairman BP Manjunath said, “We have received good response from dog lovers of Bangalore, Delhi, Bombay, Chennai, Coimbatore, Sollapura, Hyderabad, Pune, Cochin, Ernakulam and Kozhikode.” The juries are, D Krishnamurthy and Mathew C John.DC P S Vastrad and City Police Commissioner Sunil Agarwal will inaugurate the show and City Corporation Commissioner K S Raikar will release the souvenir.
