HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who is also the chairman of the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, (SVIMS), Tirupati wanted the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam to construct dormitories for outpatients in SVIMS. Presiding over the executive board meeting of the institute at the Secretariat, he reviewed the progress of the institute and also the functioning of Rajiv Aarogyasri scheme at SVIMS.Five Rajiv Aarogyasri medical coordinators have bene exclusively appointed for attending to the needs of Aarogyasri patients round-the-clock. The patients identified in the medical camps conducted by SVIMS are referred for free treatment under Aarogyasri Scheme.
