Noida: A man carrying a reward of Rs 5,000 on his head was gunned down today in a shootout with the police on Saturday.
Salim Khan of Bahraich was travelling in a stolen car along with others when they were asked to stop by a police team in Sector 91 but they fired on the men in uniform, police said.
Police retaliated and when the firing stopped, the car had rammed into a tree and come to a halt.
When the team searched the car, Khan was found dead while the others had managed to escape, police said.
