Dressed like common man, Arvind Kejriwal and team take oath
Kejriwal took oath as the eighth chief minister of Delhi at a packed ceremony in the historic Ramlila Maidan.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's Arvind Kejriwal and his ministerial colleagues on Saturday took oath of office dressed like a common man reflecting the philosophy of the party, though he did give a miss to his trademark muffler.

Wearing his usual blue sweater and grey trousers, Kejriwal took oath as the eighth chief minister of Delhi at a packed ceremony in the historic Ramlila Maidan. The AAP chief, who is popularly known as the 'muffler-man', however, gave it a miss as it was a warm and sunny day.

Kejriwal and six other ministers took the oath of office and secrecy in 'Hindi', drawing large round applause from the crowd.

Others administered oath by Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung were Manish Sisodia, Asim Ahmed Khan, Sandeep Kumar, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai and Jitender Singh Tomar.

All of the AAP ministers were seen donning the party caps carrying the slogan 'main aam aadmi hun (I am a common man)'.

While Sisodia, Jain and Khan chose the trousers and shirt combo, the rest were spotted in traditional politicians' outfit of kurta pajama with Nehru jacket.
