The Eighth Standard Public Examination (ESLC) results for the districts of Vellore, Tirupattur, Cheyyar and Tiruvannamalai have been announced.
The mark certificates of the private candidates who had appeared for the ESLC, conducted by the Department of Government Examinations would be sent to their addresses.
According to the regional deputy director of government examinations, K Lalitha, the results of the ESLC examinations that were conducted in April this year has been published on August 21 (Tuesday) at the website www.dge.tn.nic.in
The candidates who have passed the ESLC and plan to appear for the SSLC board examination in April, 2013 are mandated to enrol for the practical training classes.
Application forms for this can be downloaded from the website http://dge.tn.gov.in and should be submitted to the respective District Educational office on or before August 27.
The results of the SSLC/OSLC/Matriculation and Anglo Indian special supplementary examinations held in June/July 2012 have also been published by the department of government examinations, which is available in the website (www.dge.tn.nic.in).
The mark certificates can be obtained from the exam centres on August 29 and 30.
Dates for re-evaluation of marks and application for the special supplementary examination to be conducted in September/October, 2012 will be announced in the near future.
