Four injured in group clash

RAMANATHAPURAM: Two groups that attacked each other on Wednesday had cases filed against them by the Thiruvadanai police.Police said a verbal altercation between Kalimuthu of Moolavayal village and Alagar of Govindamangalam village resulted in a clash between their supporters. Four persons sustained minor injuries in the attack. Police registered a case against nine persons and inquiry is on. Local body election was allegedly the reason behind the group clash.
