HYDERABAD: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare's visit to Hyderabad on December 19 has been cancelled as he has to be in Delhi the same day for discussions with central government.The proposed Jan Lokpal walk on Sunday morning from People's Plaza to Sanjivaiah Park has also been cancelled, said Gandhi King Foundation managing trustee Prasad Gollanapalli.OUJAC wants Anna to support Telangana With social activist and anticorruption crusader Anna Hazare visiting the city on Monday, the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC) has requested him to campaign also for the Telangana cause.Thirumani Kondal, OU JAC convener, said here on Saturday that they requested Anna Hazare to support the demand for a separate Telangana state.“A number of students have sacrificed their lives.We expect Anna Hazare to respond to our request. Otherwise, we will oppose his visit,’’ he warned.
