The Army, Navy and Air Force bands performed at the Beating The Retreat ceremony at Vijay Chowk in New Delhi on Friday, marking the end of Republic Day celebrations. President Pranab Mukherjee revived a presidential tradition by riding a six-horse buggy. He was received by Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chiefs of the three forces.
