Pulwama: Two civilians were killed in police firing in Kakapora area of Pulwama district after an encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces on Sunday.
According to reports, a mob was instigating the security forces while they were engaged in an encounter with the terrorists. Seven civilians were also injured during clashes with the police.
Meanwhile, one terrorist was killed in an exchange of fire between the two sides, an official said.
The encounter was started in Kakapora area of Pulwama district after a cordon and search operation was launched in the area.
