In a devastating accident, that took place at late on Sunday night in Jamakhandi at Karnataka’s Bagalkote district four students died and 22 were left injured after a school bus carrying students collided with a tractor.
The bus was taking students back after the school’s annual day celebrations. Following the crash, the injured students were admitted in different hospitals of the district.
According to reports, the deceased were identified as 17-year old Sagar Kadkol, 13-year old Shweta, Govind (13) and Basavaraj (17).
Meanwhile, the police is investigating about the matter by interrogating the drivers. The officials also said that the students were studying in Sri Vardhaman Mahaveer Educational Society in Alagur, as per reports.
