New Delhi: It seems the reality bug has bitten filmmakers and the latest to join the bandwagon is Anand Kumar. After 'Zilla Ghaziabad', which is inspired by a real life incident, his next 'Meerut Junction' is based on rail mafia.

The rustic love story is inspired by real-life incidents with rail mafia in the backdrop. The pre-production for the film is on and is slated to go on the floor in March next year, said a press statement.

The script is penned by Vinay Sharma of 'Zilla Ghaziabad' fame and the film is being produced by corporate honchos Saurabh Varma and Tripur Singh, who are venturing into production business with the movie.

"Our vision was very clear. We wanted a film that would be real with a gripping story and entertainer too. The script is so unique that it will attract the classes and masses alike," said Saurabh Varma.
