N Balakrishna has bagged the best leading actor award for 'Simha'.

Hyderabad: Popular Telugu star N Balakrishna has bagged the best leading actor award for his performance in the film Simha in the Nandi Film Awards for 2010, announced by the Andhra Pradesh government today. Balakrishna, son of late N T Rama Rao, had bagged the prestigious award earlier too.

Newcomer Nitya Menon won the best leading actress award for her role in the breezy soft-romantic film Ala Modalaindi. Vedam, starring Anushka, Allari Naresh and Allu Arjun is the first best feature film, followed by Ganga Putrulu and Prasthanam.

P Suneel Kumar Reddy won the best director award for the film Ganga Putrulu, while debutante V Nagineedu got the award for best villain for the role of a Rayalaseema-faction leader in the hugely popular film Maryada Ramanna.

Chakri secured the best music director award for his compositions in Simha.
