OUJAC attacks MLAs house

HYDERABAD: Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC) students threw eggs and tomatoes at TDP legislator A Revanth Reddy’s house at MLA colony here on Wednesday. They fled from the place as soon as the police arrived. “We will continue to attack the houses of those who are working against the interests of Telangana,” OUJAC spokesperson P Kailash said.TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is making people of Telangana fight against each other with his ‘two-eyed’ policy, he added.Earlier in the day, when Revanth Reddy left to Karimnagar, the students burnt him in effigy at Arts College. They also threatened to attack TDP’s Mahanadu and the party headquarters, if the party does not make its stand clear on Telangana issue.  In Warangal the TRS activists and students rushed towards  Ramnagar area and besieged TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao’s house and pelted stones. Even women activists took part in the protest.  Police resorted to lathicharge as students and TRS activists tried to scale the compound wall and gain entry into Dayakar Rao’s house. TRS district convener Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, Zilla Parishad floor leader Nagurla Vekateswarlu  and a student Raju was seriously injured in the baton charge.  Ten other students also suffered minor injuries.While the agitators were arrested and shifted to the police station, the injured were admitted to a private hospital.
