Salman Khan House Firing: Lawrence Bishnoi has warned the Bollywood actor that Sunday's attack at his house in Mumbai's Bandra was 'first and final warning'.

The arrested ‘shooters’ in Salman Khan house firing case have been sent to custody till April 25 by a Mumbai court. The accused, identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), were arrested from Gujarat’s Bhuj late on Monday.

The Mumbai Police said that the accused had conducted a recce of Bollywood actor’s house thrice. “The language used in a Facebook post was threatening, and role of Anmol Bishnoi (brother of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi) is visible,” a senior officer added.

Lawrence Bishnoi has warned Salman Khan that Sunday’s attack at his house in Mumbai’s Bandra was “first and final warning”.

How Mumbai Police Nabbed the Accused

The Mumbai Police said on Tuesday that they learned from the crime branch that the shooter might be in Gujarat. “They were likely to have weapons,” the police said.

The police form 12 teams to nab the accused. The teams left for Gujarat late on Monday night and informed the Bhuj Police. Four officers of Gujarat Police helped Mumbai Police in the entire operation.

The police say that the accused were nabbed 58 km away from Bhuj in Nakhatrana. The accused were hiding at Mata nu Madh temple.

“We cracked the case using human and technical intelligence,” Mumbai Police said.

How The Accused Carried Out The Firing

Both the accused are from the Champaran district of Bihar. Sagar Pal was working in Haryana and had called Vicky as both of them stay in adjoining villages in Champaran.

As per the police, the accused recced Salman Khan’s residence thrice. They were staying in Mumbai for some time to carry out the recce.

The accused came to Mumbai on February 28. They were spotted near Taj Lands End, Bandra on February 29 and March 1.

On March 1, the went to Panvel to rent a house. The accused paid Rs 10,000 deposit for a house that they were staying at in Panvel for a rent of 3,500 rent. The rent agreement was dated March 10 and was valid for 11 months. Both the accused used their Aadhaar cards for the agreement and the payment was made in cash. The house was 10 km away from Salman Khan’s farmhouse.

They went back to Champaran for Holi and came back to Mumbai on April 1. The bike which was used to carry out the firing was purchased April 2 for Rs 24,000. The weapon was delivered to them in Mumbai. The police say Sagar Pal was the one who fired.

The police believe that the accused had planned to attack at the place from where Salman waved to his fans and that is where bullets were fired

After carrying out the firing, the two accused travelled by road from Mumbai to Kutch. They travelled from Mumbai’s Vakola to Surat by car and took state buses from Surat to Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad to Kutch.
