Michael Schumacher heads to Silverstone keen to put his Monaco qualifying incident him and instead concentrate on winning the British Grand Prix.

New Delhi: Michael Schumacher will be hoping to do a lot better than the Monaco Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Schumacher was stripped of his pole at Monaco and had to start from the pitlane after stewards ruled that he had deliberately stopped his car on the track during the qualifying session to stop Fernando Alonso from claiming the pole.

However, the seven-time world champion, who has protested his innocence from the start, is keen to put the incident behind him and focus on this weekend's Silverstone race.

"I look ahead in life," he said.

"You have to understand that in certain moments there is no point to keep talking about the past. In our job it is important to focus now on what happens in the future and that is what I am doing."

"We have been working very well in the last few days. We are preparing ourselves for Silverstone and things look very positive."

He added: "We are going to Silverstone to win the race."

What's your reaction?
