Zardari brokering deal with PML(Q), to oust PM: Reports
Pakistan is witnessing some interesting developments.

New Delhi: Pakistan is witnessing some interesting developments post the 'Long March' and the comeback of Nawaz Sharif. President Zaradari is now hitting back.

After reports of Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani plotting against him, Zardari is reportedly working on a counter strategy. He is believed to be in secret talks with PML(Q) to oust Gilani.

Plans were reportedly made in a secret meeting between the president and PML(Q) leaders, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi. The President's spokesperson, has however, denied that any such meeting took place.

The News quoted sources as saying that Zardari was not happy with Gilani's deepening relationship with the Sharifs, who were pleased with the way he came out and announced the restoration of deposed judges.

Pakistani media reports say Zardari was looking forward to 'punishing' Gilani.

For Zardari, the only way to get rid of Gilani, who is emerging more powerful, is to forge an alliance with the PML(Q) and replace Gilani with someone else. There are reasons why Zardari wants to get rid of Gilani. Gilani was by consensus chosen for the prime ministerial post when the PML(N) and PPP had decided to form a coalition Government at the Centre.

If Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain's PML(Q) and Zaradari's PPP manage to form a coalition in Punjab, Gilani will be the first one in the line of fire.
