In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Harish Choudhary of INC won in this seat defeating Ummeda Ram of RLP by a margin of 13,803 which was 7.64% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 31.94% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Kailash Choudhary of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Colonel Sona Ram of INC by a margin of 13,974 votes which was 9.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.59% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Col Sonaram of INC won this seat beating Kailash of BJP by a margin of 36,418 votes which was 32.29% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 55.15% in the seat.
