Actress Sonam Kapoor is still one of the best-dressed expectant mothers in the movie business even though she hasn’t made many public appearances or social media posts since sharing her pregnancy news with her husband, Anand Ahuja. And she demonstrated this once more when she and her brother Arjun Kapoor made an appearance on season seven of Koffee With Karan. The talk show’s special Raksha Bandhan episode will include the two brothers; the trailer and a few images from the sets were posted to social media today. Sonam made another maternity fashion statement in a black off-the-shoulder dress that was appropriate for the situation.
Tuesday saw the release of a humorous promo for episode 6 of Koffee With Karan on Instagram by Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar. The soon-to-be mom-to-be also uploaded a couple images from the sets with the caption, “Ufff I’m a gigantic mess,” showing Sonam dressed in an all-black gown fit for the red carpet and looking stunning as usual. Sonam wears an elegant black off-the-shoulder velvet gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline that reveals her décolletage. Sonam’s baby bulge is highlighted by the outfit’s figure-hugging design, exaggerated puffed half-length sleeves, and floor-grazing hem.
Sonam added glitz to her all-black look with matching big rings, gold hoops embellished with pearls, and sandals. Sonam’s final glam options included center-parted open hair, a glossy mauve lip colour, black winged eyeliner, delicate eye shadow, flushed cheeks, a dewy base, dazzling highlighter, sharp contouring, and mascara on the lashes.
Sonam’s appearance in a black gown highlighted how the little black dress (LBD) is evolving. Floor-length or midi-length gowns are dominating the closets of our favourite celebs. Make a lasting impression at the next party you attend by investing in a stylish black clothing. Don’t, however, throw away your LBD just yet.
In the meantime, Sonam Kapoor revealed in March of this year that she and Anand Ahuja are expecting their first child. On May 8, 2018, the pair exchanged vows in Mumbai.
