Currently basking in the success of two back-to-back successful films, AndhaDhun and Badhaai Ho, Ayushmann Khurrana took to social media on Friday to announce his next project—Dream Girl.
Ayushmann broke the news through a quirky video, in which he is discussing story ideas for his next project with his creative team that ends up suggesting plots he has already done. Fed up with the lack of new inputs, he takes the help of the office boy who gives him the script of Dream Girl. Ayushmann likes it so much that he immediately announces it as his next project.
Interestingly, the video says Ayushmann will star in and as Dream Girl, without revealing anything else. Sharing the video on Twitter and Instagram, Ayushmann wrote, “Of every possible role, this one, I'd be honest, would have never crossed my mind! But here I am, to play a role in and as #DreamGirl."
Balaji Motion Pictures also tweeted the video. “Mila hai hume humara dream boy, to work on our dream film. Presenting Ayushmann Khurrana in & as #DreamGirl. Yes, you read that right ;)," it wrote alongside.
Written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, Dream Girl will star Nushrat Bharucha as the female lead. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Aashish Singh, it is Ayushmann’s first collaboration with Balaji Motion Pictures.
